Think about why villain would check this fairly dry A-high flop with initiative? Judging by his pf stats (although only 24 hands) he seems TAG enough. His flop check does smell like a slowplay. Don't mind the steal attempt here but perhaps give up on turn - would he call with 99-JJ & KK oop all the way? What range are you putting him on on all streets? Calling your flop bet oop he basically reps Axo or 88. A diamond draw should bet/raise this flop oop.

On the flop you are mostly repping a set, a weak-ish A or maaaybe 2p (would you flat call A8 vs him?)... Think he can discount a FD after you're betting the turn, a free card on an otherwise dry board is ideal. A set is the only thing in your value range on the river.

Not sure about turn sizing as turn is a brick, although I would check behind and prob give up.

And remember, any A has you beat.

Your line doesn't make much sense unless V can confidently believe you would flat AK/AQ or get thin value on three streets w/ AJ/A10. Double barreling the turn only helps if you're trying to rep the goods, in which case I would bomb the river (45ish BBs). V can also credibly put you on busted flush draws so the triple barrel line makes less sense.

Easy with hindsight....Yes wrong spot eewee ugly. If he calls your flop bet he must have something and the only thing you are beating is bottom pair or a flush draw.
Worst case I would put him on a set hoping you have an ace and will fire off a couple of barrels. Either that or ace small kicker and he will just call you down,
either way you are crushed. If he had bottom pair he hit trips on the turn, crushed again. Your only hope is a missed diamond draw and he ain't calling any river bet with that, so just check the river and pray. Next time give up on the turn, you took a shot at winning the pot and it failed give it up....
