Betting the River will keep you in front and if patricia does have the straight the 7 or k she will probably raise.

This. As soon as I saw the title, 'is x/calling the river better than...' my default thought was, almost certainly not.

Yeah, I think a much better question is bet/fold or ch/fold.

K doesn't change anything though so if we're value betting turn we're value betting river.

bet/fold all the way.

With the way the action went, I would also go with bet/fold. Like others said though, we would need more info about his playing style to make the best decision.

I have to agree.... is the other player a calling station or are they just slow playing. Without knowing their play style its hard telling what they are doing.
