Looking at their stats this looks like a bit of a limpfest. How agg are they once they are in
the hand? Its a wet board with plenty of draws
SB is probably drawing as well. The complication is the button yet to act. If we had higher spades id say raise to drive out the button. If we just call and the btn has any sort of decent draw he will probably raise and we are in a tough spot.
The problem is our flush draw could be dominated by higher spades. I regularly see players getting stacked flush over flush so here raising is a two edged sword. You might win it now but you are also bloating the pot with a mediocre draw. Lots of ifs and buts but i agree its at least a call and see how it develops. You could avoid these spots by folding preflop and only playing these sort of hands from the btn

I pop it to 4.25 total more often than I just call. That may knock out draws behind you (good since many dominate you) and you should have a profitable double barrel for $8 on the turn. Whether to 3 barrel river when you miss is close. If you think he calls Turn with draws you pile river. If you don't think he has draws much a 3rd barrel is spew since it's like 10 into 25 and villain should call off most of his made hands. Break even under 30% tho so....

Alternatively you could size smaller on turn to $6 planning to barrel most rivers for 2/3 pot. I guess if I want to 3 barrel this guy this sizing is better as you're enticing more marginal calls with the small turn sizing, with the intent of bluffing those hands on the river.

Agree with tom. Call it and see what the BTN will do. If he folds, you can bluff the turn for a straight card or you can make your draw. Decide if you can continue to see the river if it is a blank turn.
Just treat your hand to be a straight and flush draw since you are in position. No need to bluff the river if you missed the so called straight and flush draw.

I would just call it down or reraise on the trun if the button stays in the pot.

The chances of a call does not fit and behind another opponent fold.

Here's the remainder of the hand. Thanks for the input. I opted to re-raise and did not expect the button to call (even if he did, i knew he was gonna check the turn cause he was a passive player -- very low pfr and agg). It checked around and I got a free card AND basically made it look like I had like KJ or QJ.

First thing that i have to say is that even though there are 2 fish there, they are both on my left. Not the best situation
I would fold preflop and the reason is the 2 on the left. I would tighten my play both preflop and postflop because it is spewing money trying to play hands that do not hit often. Simply i do not see how that hand can be profitable because we need to let go most of the flops.

If it were heads up, I'd likely raise and show a lot of strength on the turn as well. But when some potential donkey donks into 2 people on that kind of texture, I'd lean more towards call or fold simply because you don't have much FE against someone like this and you are in the sandwiched position post flop. I doubt the SB is trying to take advantage of this, and I lean more towards it's a weak value bet with 9x or Jx and they will get pot stuck despite a raise.

When button coldcalls behind your (too small) raise on flop I give up on that turn also for sure. A lot of button's range includes Axs hands which just improved and AJ, and bet folding tbe turn costs you your unrealized equity.

Call. If you raise then you have to fold to any further raises. If you call you can hit a flush and still get a lot of money. You want the Button to come in with a weaker hand too.

Your fold equity is too small to make a raise here and expect many folds from the SB.

By raising you give the Button the opportunity to play very well against you. If you raise and the Button calls you're not going to be super confident that you have the best flush if a spade falls.

Yup no need to go all wild and reraise on the flop. Simply calling is a good idea to peel of a card for cheap and trying to hit our flush outs.
