Villain 741 hands, 20/10/3 att to steal 27
3bet 5%, fold to 3bet 87%
fold to cbet 43%, fold to turn cbet 50%.

My stats on how he probably sees them:
28/22/3 att to steal 37
3bet 4%, fold to 3bet 83%

888 Poker - $0.30 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 5 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

SB: $49.15
Hero (BB): $43.65
UTG: $44.97
CO: $30.62
BTN: $65.38

SB posts SB $0.15, Hero posts BB $0.30

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.45) Hero has Q:diamond: Q:spade:

fold, fold, BTN raises to $0.90, SB calls $0.75, Hero raises to $3.60, BTN calls $2.70, fold

Flop: ($8.10, 2 players) 4:diamond: 6:spade: 8:spade:
Hero bets $5.70, BTN calls $5.70

Turn: ($19.50, 2 players) 4:club:
Hero checks, BTN bets $12.60, Hero calls $12.60

River: ($44.70, 2 players) 3:club:
Hero checks, BTN bets $43.48

???

IT also might be relevant that the sb, who called an original raise of 3x is the fish at the table, playing 57/7/1 over 88 hands, so the reason the villain just called my 3bet is in hope the fish come along.

I like the way you formatted the post, with both significant players stats up top. Would be great if everyone could do that.

I am assuming all 741 hands on villain are at 6max. And that he considers you the loose person in this hand.

Not thrilled with that semi-wet flop, but villain stats don't suggest he is playing 6-8, or 5-7 hands often, but could be playing any pair, and position. Also Ax is in his range especially the suited brands.

So he could easily start with the button raise (standard), his Ax being A8 or A6 would give him 2 pair, and it is possible he discounts you having any pair. His bet is not a value bet tho.....hmmmmmm????

He came along on the flop bet, so it is reasonable he hit something, maybe A4 (disaster pending).

AA,KK are possibilities, any 4 and 57 kill you.

I sort of close my eyes and call here. But agree it should not have got to 'here'. Potting the flop bet would probably have been the place to claim this hand, but villain has you covered so he will be playing any overpair as well 99,TT,JJ.

ch/shove looks good i suppose although he is so tight and folds to so many 3bets im a bit concerned that he's calling it here. he's usually folding over 80% of his opening range to 3bets! I know theres a fish but that just as much reason for him to flat AA and KK, meh i think its fine cause he can have AK,AQ, KQ and stuff that have draws so ch/shove is kinda cool i suppose
