Btn hasn't played any hands in the past 14 so he's unknown.

I played this hand a long time ago so I really don't know why i didn't cbet the flop, maybe I was afraid of getting c/r'd by the fish. Kd comes and of course i'm going to barrel it and thinking back on it now I know that if i do barrel it I pretty much have to barrel any river card.

Man I really do not like how I played this. Usually I'd vbet this river like 100% of the time but is there any reason why I might just check? Is checking a better move to hopefully induce bluffs or bets from Kx? Should I be c/r river or just call(because I'm not sure he'd call with much worse other than Jdx)?

Sorta. Lots of times you'll be getting called by a flush draw when the K hits, so barreling might get those other 1 off diamonds that have you beat to fold. However, calls are also going to include kings. I'm not sure how many combinations of KX there are compared to XdXo since I'm at work, but I don't think its an auto-river-barrel.

I see no reason why you'd check the river once you make a flush though, especially when he's going to take a free showdown if he doesn't have a flush like 90% of the time.

I think that if I showed this hand to a guy that is really helpful with my HH he would have told me "what worse hands would call if you bet the river?" and I would probably say "every guy that has a diamond in the hand" and the only diamond that beats you is [Ad].

There are other hands that beat you and that will call, but I find all those hands so improbable given the PF and flop play.
