Yeah hard to fold this and the board isn't terribly wet ... sure 3 of the same suit on the flop but really how many times someone going to flop a flush???

How often are we facing people who have an overpair to the board? Bluffy range as well.

Get the picture???

Great you didn't fold because people who get you to fold with AA on this board know they could play ATC against you

There's no real mechanical answer to this. It's a tight spot. The question is - does this LAG semi bluff his draws? Can he have TT with the ten of clubs in this spot? Can he have AJ with the A of clubs? How often is this player flatting JJ+ preflop?

My concern is not having the Ace of clubs in your hand. That puts a lot more club combos in your opponents range.

No matter what it's going to be a tight spot and I think if you believe your opponent is capable of being hear with a naked Ace of clubs, or an over pair with a club, then you have to call. That said, it's also a spot that a lot of players won't bluff, since your hand range looks like AK with ace of clubs or JJ+ - which aren't hands that readily fold. So if you don't believe your opponent is a big bluffer I think you do have to let it go :(

Can we start banning people who tell players to fold aces against a lag in a 3-bet pot?
