Villian Stats (VPIP/PFR/AF): 39/19/1.3

Hi, just wanted to post this hand from the other day for analysis.

Villian is super loose and calling down everyone for about 100 hands. I have seen him before but never played with him before this session.

anyhow, here is the link to the hand. I had to use weaktight's converter as it is off of my merge account and I can't convert XML. thanks guys.

When you 3bet preflop do you expect him to call with hands you have good equity against? In other words was the preflop 3bet for value?

What do you expect him to have after he calls the flop bet? How does your hand rate against those hands?

I was contemplating limping but was OOP. I 3bet for value thinking his range from the button is any two suited cards, any connected cards, gappers, etc. thus putting me ahead. The problem is that his range is so wide here (fig I'd be ahead most of the time.) I thought there was a slim chance he might fold and I could take it down pre-flop.

My thinking on the flop was to slam him for value. He flat called very quickly, so I put him on a FD (which was true), and then I jammed the turn after having witnessed him calling an all-in from a reg on the flop with a weak FD in an earlier hand (which he hit on the river). Unfortunately, my read was half correct in the FD he held, I just could not see the straight. Think I just wanted to get it in hoping he'd call with the flush draw and miss (which he did, lol).

So you think he calls your 3bet with all those hands?

Well yeah if he's that loose he'll probably call a FD, any top pair, maybe pair + gutshot or A9 etc.

Oh yeah, he's flatting with a huge range (or so I suspect ).

If that's the case I see no problem with the hand. If you want good analysis on a hand though you should include some reads on the villain.
