I clicked shove, no reason for him to play the nuts like this and looks like a flopped set/straight/2 pair trying to protect

I clicked fold, never go broke in a limped pot imo lol

He seen you call a 3bet on a 3 flush board and then potted the turn anyways, he doesn't look scared of it, he limped so 8xs/9xs/Jxs/Qxs is easily possible

i'd be more inclined to think like this. The chances of him flopping a flush too is so low and so he's more likely to have a decent hand with possible flush redraws (eg. QJo with Q of spades). If he had the nuts I wouldn't expect him to play it sooo fast.

Not go broke in a limped pot when we flopped a flush against a fish? Not to mention an aggro fish. That's just bad imo.

as i said earlier i clicked the wrong one, i accidently clicked call it down but i was meant to click shove! calling down is probably the WORST thing you could do here lol.

same reasons as bgomez for shoving, he's an aggro fish and the way hes betting looks to me like hes trying to stop draws coming in - not cause he's flopped a better flush... although he may do that too with medium flushes that are higher than ours but arent the nuts, still like shoving though

why not shove flop?

I want a bigger flush draw to have to pay.

Of course not, but what should be our plan for the hand then? Getting to river cheap and then bluff it when no obvious draw completes?

He has the nuts.

This is a guy who wont raise QJo against a limper but will lead out in a MW pot with a naked draw and keep raising at every opportunity.?

yeah, but to the reraise on the flop. I just think he shows up with a higher flush a lot

did you look at his stats? We're not up against a smart player or a nit, but a loose and pretty aggressive player. He could be 3bet/calling with two pairs and flopped straights or maybe ever TP+FD/gutterball. I still like stacking here, not to mention flush over flush only happens every what, 1 out of 121 times? Surely stacking off here and us losing won't affect us too much in the long run

Would you stack off 300bb deep?

A limped pot has a much different SPR than a normal raised pot so its more akin to playing deep.

Without more info on villian I am reluctant to put him on draws because he really wants to get the money in.

If you are ahead, its thin, why play fish in marginal spots?
