I would of preferred to just flat the 3bet here, you have a lot of hands on villian and it suggest he plays a TAG game, so for that reason I just prefer to flat it.

I just noticed something odd on your stats, I was going to say I would of preferred to c/c the flop, but your stats say that BB acted first on the flop by checking, well you are the SB and should be acting first.

I don't know why, but I think if someone leaves the tables, there are situations, where you act as the SB Preflop and then have Position Postflop (on 888). So the hand history is actually right. I knew that I will have position, but I don't understand why.

I don't play cash games enough to notice these things :)

Flop: I would of checked back
Turn: I would of also checked back
River: I like the bet there.

You are either going to chop this pot, which I doubt he had with the 3bet. I think vill had AJ AK here and just couldn't let go on the river. I think if he had AA or KK he probably would of raised your bet on the flop, trying to get you off a possinle flush.

have to bet all streets and shove river.

that was my first response.

but really if he call flop his range has sets and top pair and wont be folding. unless he got sticky with small to medium pp setmining like a doosh.

i do like betting to build the pot if we do hit our river and get stacks in.. our hand is disguised enough to get paid but we notice the board pairs at the end which is awful given the range villain has... which will be a set most times... aa wouldve reraised.

we got nuts on turn so putting stacks in there isnt bad but 1/3 times we lose on river

I like the 4bet there and turn is also really good since we get extra outs on our straight. I think i would have bet the turn tho, something like 40-45% potsize and shove river if we hit our straight. I think he could have alot of AT/AJ/KT/KJ and middle pairs up to JJ since he just flats the 4bet.

Not a huge fan of the 4 bet pre but since we did I think we HAVE to check back this flop. We are too deep to play this for stacks in a 4 bet pot so we need to pot control somewhere and the flop is a great spot to start.

Thank you all! Given that I knew, that I will have position, I think my 4bet is probably fine, because his 3Bet% is from 6-Max, but all other players left and I thoght he will be more aggressive HU (could be wrong of course). But I don't like my bet and the flop anymore. I will probably check next time, but I was a little bit afraid to put my hand face up..and I don't know if I can call a lot of turns..

hmm why do you want to target an aggressive player with a mediocre hand??? why not passive and then we control the size of the pot and it wont matter if we hit or miss. We can get them off hands or keep the pot low. We have much more breathing space here

if we play against an aggro player the pots going to be huge no matter what and most will shove pre on us anr putting us in bad spots and we will def need the best hand here because they wont fold.
