Standard b/f OTR? Having a hard time for a range here. I feel like his range when he calls is pairs so can't he only have like 88/QQ here?

HUDs ****ed so i didn't have it running.

Looks like a standard b/f, but it's hard to know without stats. And his calling range could be a lot wider than pairs imo. Also depends on stats.

I think this is closer than you guys are saying. If we feel he's nitty/TAGish then fold but if he never turns worse pairs into bluffs and generally 3-bets QQ then he just basically has no value range. I can give him charitably 7 combos of boats/quads and if he ever sticks it in with AQcc/AQhh or the occasional 65/A5 it's pretty damn close. If we're forced to fold everything here it can be pretty damn exploitable, vs. a thinking reg I think it's pretty much a call.

He isn't going to float with someone left to act behind. AQ isn't in his range IMO.

baud this is why im having troubles with this hand. Im having difficulties finding a hand here. I think 3 ways he is most likely going to be only calling the cbet if he has some kind of pair.

I dont think he has many 3s in his hand. I can see maybe AKs but i imagine that 3bets pre and same with QQ. Whats left? like 88?

What diamonds is he floating the flop with? AJd, A5d, 56d? He raises the 3 on the turn, raises QQ pf or on the flop/turn...he's pretty much polarized to 88 or junk yeah? Could be a fold with those diamonds in his range, depends on your previous reads of him raising with similar hands on the turn/flop in the past, but this isn't a bad spot to get you to fold overpairs, triple barrels, or aggressive AQ. At only 25nl this is probably still a fold tho.

FWIW, villain has a lot of busted draws in his range and probably folds to a river bet with middle pair...might be worth c/c in the future.

Not 88 or junk. 33/44 is in his range as well. The only way we can call is if he is capable enough to ship something like 99. I seriously doubt that though.

Yeah his range is ridic. I think it's pretty much going to be a call against thinking regs or someone capable of spazz because your range is capped at like AA and obv. b/f overpairs is going to be standard. Sucks that you have no better reads/history on him. It could be that he gets to river with 99-JJ type stuff and realize he can't win at showdown and turns his hand into a bluff, which would be pretty standard at higher limits.

I probably size it a bit smaller otr since the Q isn't going to be a fun card for middle pp's, but ya were crushed. Nobodys turning made hands into bluffs in this spot imo at 25nl

Like if your thinking at a high enough level to cap his range at overpairs, then your probably also thinking enough to realize at 25nl v unknowns, its really unlikely they are even going to fold an overpair to a shove anyways, so you would realize your making a seriously -ev play.
