My plan was to get it all in on a non-diamond/A turn card.

would have folded on the flop. he got you with a set there, i don't think he is leading that strong with AT, unless it is the guy you took 100$ from or something in that link, which would make it a shove.

Yeah I think stacking (and your line) is fine given your reads, unless he gets super nitty when deep or something. Plenty of draws, top pairs, random spazzes in his range. Two pair hands are heavily discounted, and we're really only worried about sets and unlikely slowplayed overpairs.
