villain plays 37/25.
I get lucky on the turn, but the river is just terrible,
He tanked for a very long time on the turn, and I assumed he had a set at that point, (what else could he call with?)
I just folded as I don't anything here, I can only chop, Did I make the right fold?

NEVER CALL FOR CHOPS IN THAT SITUATION....if he is bold enough to bluff right there then let him have it cause chances are he's not

he is 37/25 but over what sample size and what's his 3bet?

I would like to know.

as the hand went I am probably folding without any notes or tells.

he played 37/25 with a 3bet of 15.1 over 350 hands. So I beat a pretty big part of his range right?

Please excuse my beginner post here - it took me a while to work out why this was a fold - is this right:

3 bet from SB range = 10's+, AK+ therefore we have to assume when the 10 comes on the river there is a high chance he has just made a full house?

Thanks

No his 3-bet range is roughly: 77+ ATo+ A7s+ KTo+ K9s+ QTs+ JTs+.
But basically, he calls the turn which means he has At least an ace/2p/a set, assuming he's not a complete donkey, so on the river the best outcome would be a chop.

Ip with AJ against a 37/25?
I'd rather 4-bet and call it off than call and whiff most flops. Beating his range in all in EV has little to do with how a hand plays profitably on the flop.

Against a player who 3-bets that much, quite a bit.

I'd say, KQs, AJs, AQs, QQ+. 4-betting all sorts of stuff.

Also, the main adjustment you need to make is to not steal very often. Having a maniac player on your left sucks, because it means you need to turn into a nit. If you can't move spots at the table to get him on your right, you should stay, and turn into a 13/13 nit preflop.

Also, just for reference BvB, you said he 3-bets 15% of hands. AJo only has 50% equity against that range if you go all in preflop. It's not like we have him dominated here. AJ just isn't a great hand.
