$25 NL HE 6-max: folded AK tptk on river. right move???

Villian Stats (VPIP/PFR/AF): 42/24/1

villain was loose/passive playing 41/24/1 agg over 42 hands. im playing 18/13/2. no strong reads as i was multi tabling. i did'nt feel like tptk was ever good there, or maybe i am completley wrong?
opinions please.

Not a great spot. A 41/24 has a lot of suited/connected mostly crap in his range.

I'd disagree that TP is never good here esp with a nice bluff card on the river, but 24 PFR indicates he does know how to bet, and the 1 Agg over only 42 hands is less converged than the 41/24. I could go either fold/call, proly lean to fold though and wait to see if this is a fav line for him to take.

i hear what your saying but i dont really see any hands he can be calling the flop and turn with that he can turn into a bluff on the river as the flop is super dry.

I have little experience dealing with donk bets, but in my home game this is a favorite for one of the players when he is out of position and misses his draws. He mostly uses it in PLO though. But like you said this is a dry flop, so possibly he's doing this strong A7, A2 maybe.

You are beat by just about any two broadway cards, with the exception of KQ, KJ, QT, and JT. I really like how you played the hand.
