Call, the 7 changes almost nothing. And this reg's line just seems super fishy. You may need to re-evaluate your read.

Should prolly 3bet more too.

don't you think it's a set? I know a lot of bad players check-raise the flop attempting to slow-play. so I figured he had 4's or 6's,he would've played them the same way.

nope i don't think its a set unless he is a terribly simple-minded player. Given your large 3bet pre he can rule out suited connectors, so his most likely holdings are an overpair smaller than yours that dont want to see a river that will outdraw them. He likely thinks you have AK or AQ often enough in this spot to make his attempt to steal the pot profitable. And even if he does have a set, so what? he will showup with so many other worse hands often enough here that calling it is fine in my opinion. He check-raised an incredibly dry flop for a 3bet pot, so either he has no idea how to get max value from his set vs your overpair, or he has a weaker hand than you and thinks his aggression will win the pot.

Thanks guys,
I guess I should've called..

Second about the "reg" part, I tag someone as a "regular" when they don't have a gap between their VPIP/PFR over a decent sample size, and they multitable.

He was playing 8 tables and 21/21 over 50 hands or so,, so I figured he's a reg,
I might have a big leak spotting reg's, as I look straight at the facts, and as c9 pointed out in another thread, I shouldn't be going straight after stats.

TT and 99 make most sense to me, same as other said this is a call or 3b all in on flop, or if you want to fold just fold on the flop.
