I know generally its not profitable to set mine in 3bet pots when 100bb deep but was just wondering if it is ever profitable? In this case villain 1 who 3bets is decent and 3bets light. He and I have been having a bit of a 3bet/4bet war for the last 2 hours on several tables. Basically we've both been 3betting each other light and sometimes 4bet bluffing aswell. I know that would make it even less profitable to set mine vs him because he doesn't necassarily have a big hand. However the villain who calls the 3bet hasn't been at the table long but is very clearly a fish, he's played nearly every hand.
So the question is does the presence of the fish make it profitable to set mine? If not what if there was another caller aswell, would that make it profitable?
UTG ($65)
MP ($30)
CO - Hero ($30.15)
BTN ($30)
SB ($30)
BB ($61.07)
Hero is dealt 5s,5h
Preflop ($0.45)
2 folds, Hero raises to $0.90, 1 fold, SB raises to $2.70, BB calls $2.70, Hero?
