i mean you dont have direct odds, but obviously you had the implied odds, so i think its pretty standard.

I can't stand looking at unconverted hand histories. Seriously it takes two seconds.

poker stars $0.10/$0.25 No Limit Hold'em - 6 players
The Official 2+2 Hand Converter Powered By DeucesCracked.com

Hero (MP): $17.72
CO: $5.00
BTN: $6.64
SB: $15.40
BB: $24.78
UTG: $27.21

Pre Flop: ($0.35) Hero is MP with 8 7
1 fold, Hero raises to $1, 2 folds, SB calls $0.90, BB calls $0.75

Flop: ($3.00) T 9 A (3 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero checks

Turn: ($3.00) A (3 players)
SB bets $1.25, BB calls $1.25, Hero calls $1.25

River: ($6.75) 6 (3 players)
SB bets $3, BB folds, Hero raises to $8, SB calls $5

Raise the river WAY WAY WAY WAY bigger. And bet the flop.

Oh, and preflop is like spew to the fifth power. And buy in full. And generally stop being such a fishcake.

SB bets too small on the turn, especially into two other players and with a club and straight draws on the board, so he's got no room for complaining.

My version of c9's reply:

Preflop is questionable, better if suited.
Bet flop. Why raise pre with 87 if you're not going to c-bet when you flop a draw? You've got some potential fold equity plus you start building the pot if you hit.
Buy in full, or short if you want, but not in between. You put yourself in weird situations denying yourself implied odds with inbetween sizes.
