Both players involved in the hand were fairly tight players. Should I have bet 1/2 or 1/3 pot on the flop or was that play fine?

Full Tilt - $0.25 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 3

BTN: $10.00
SB: $7.38
BB: $10.00
UTG: $22.66
Hero (MP): $15.79
CO: $13.68

SB posts SB $0.10, BB posts BB $0.25

Pre Flop: ($0.35) Hero has A:diamond: A:heart:

UTG calls $0.25, Hero raises to $1.10, fold, fold, fold, BB calls $0.85, UTG calls $0.85

Flop: ($3.40, 3 players) 4:diamond: 7:club: Q:spade:
BB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets $3.40, BB calls $3.40, UTG raises to $21.56 and is all-in, Hero folds, BB calls $5.50 and is all-in

I am supposed to fold this here no matter what correct?

Yikes what an ugly spot for AA.

That board is so dry it has to be either a set or an overplayed KQ/AQ. I think I'd need more notes/stats on the villain to be happy about clicking the fold button getting 2-1 with an overpair. The big question I have is, if BB has a set, why would he be raising this board?

How many hands and what stats for BB?

With your stack size and the money already in the pot, I don't see how you can fold. UTG will have a set a decent amount here but he def. could have a Queen that he is trying to get HU against the really small stack with.

The BB is 13/7 and I have roughly 300 hands on him. So he is very tight and only raises when he really has something.

I play NL25 but I play the short stack tables because I was playing above my bankroll. I want to play NL25 but can't afford to lose that much of my stack in one hand. Playing SS helps me maintain some form of bankroll management. I know not all of you will agree with this, but that's just what I'm doing right now.

Why did you bet pot?

I bet the pot to throw them off a bit as if I was trying to steal it...

As honest as I can be the players at this level just dont reraise with AIR, if they are playing back at me with the stat set that these 2 had they definitely had something huge.

I'll post the rest of the hand in the next post to make it easier to read....
