$25 NL HE 6-max: AA BB vs. SB, board pairs on turn

To me this minraise on the flop represents a weak draw and the occasional Jx, maybe J9 as strongest hand he has here...I didn't want to ship the flop because I am sure I'm ahead and want him to spew on the turn...am I right in thinking the turn is a total blank or strengthens my hand?

I would have re-raised flop, get some more money in there so that he's committed.

Yeah, I think a shove here is pretty standard, the way you played it anyway.

Shove is perfectly acceptable. I'm guessing he has a high flush draw or something like AJ/KJ with the fact that he called p/f.

Gotta raise the flop imo, kid most likely has AJ, KJ, type hand so I would actually raise to like 3 on the turn since he might be scared of the 7. With that weak bet of .75 I think he's trying to block a little and just wants to show this down cheap, I doubt he is calling a all in here with a jack, he might though. I would raise to 3-5, I think you would get more value that way.

Yeah I suppose raising the flop is standard.

I'm not sure if this is a mistake but in general I worry less about the flush when I hold the A of that suit. I don't consider a 4d on the turn a bad card for me. I was really hoping to underrep my hand on the flop because this flop raise is air or a weak draw a lot, so I wanted to get him to call a committing bet on a safe turn.

Mostly because this is BBvs. SB I don't expect him to have much of a hand here.

Flop is fine. Turn is one of the best cards in the deck because I don't think he's raising bottom pair much and you now beat J9. I raise turn and shove most rivers.

Preflop 4-5x it.

Flatting the flop is fine, as is getting it in. Your logic with regards to the Ad stuff is good, but you have to remember people c/r any Jx here and sometimes 9T and stuff and never fold to a 3bet, so you want to get the money in BEFORE a diamond drops for that reason.

As played shipping is good. This is close to a complete blank - only thing you're worried about is a spazzed out 7x on the flop or 7xd.

I usually make it 4x from the SB, but I like to raise less from the BB, because A. the SB calls light and B. I have position.

Do you raise more because he already has a quarter invested?

I raise more because he's a 25nl donk and I have AA.

Making it that big has very little to do with it being 25nl and everything to do with him limping and almost definitely being a donk.
