$25 NL HE 6-max: 78 in the bb no hand history atm

I'm dealt 78 in the bb, 1 raise from UTG to $1 and 1 call fromSB.Won't include suits as it wasn't relevant.

Flop comes 7-8-4

SB checks, I check, UTG bets $1.25 with $25 behind him, I raise it up to $2.50 with $12 behind me, SB folds. UTG re-raises all-in,

Sorry for undetailed thread. I had no previous infor for anyone at the table, it was my 3rd hand there.

Thanks?

I'd snap call it, looks like he has an overpair or even overcards. If he has a set you just have to take it, will be so rare generally if you ask me.

Am I allowed to tell you the outcome? I read the rules and it looked like I couldn't say what I'd done in the hand, or maybe that was the original post

You can tell the outcome, but probably should wait a bit. If you got sucked out/counterfeited, or if he hit a set of 44's, it doesn't really matter to how you should have played the hand on the flop.

This is a snap call. He's going to show up w an overpair so much more often than a set that you're an enormous favorite against his range - getting it in when you're a huge favorite against his range and effective stacks are around 50bb's is good.

Like the others, very easy call. This is about as good as it gets especially that the one shoving is the UTG raiser cause his range is so heavy with overpairs. If you don't call here, the only reason you're calling here preflop is to flop the straight lol

Yeah just move on to next hand, but if you do care, 78s is really weak from the blinds. Suited connectors play best in position, and no where else really, esp lower end ones. If you play with a set of ranges according to position, i would play the blinds as tight as i would UTG.

Yeh I know this now, I defend my blinds too much at times, and love suited connectors, which i have to change lol
