Absolutely no reads on villain. I probably should've just bet the turn but I didn't. What should I have done/what do I do on river?

b/f turn. He calls all pairs/pair+draw/flush draws/worse 2pair and raises 4x (which isn't that likely given pf/flop) making a valuebet pretty clear imo.

Agreeing with WV, though "in the heat of battle" (been watching Ronfar's videos) I might talk myself out of betting the turn too and regret it on the river. Having done so, I probably call river especially since by checking turn I may have opened up his range (Splitsuit videos) for the river bet.

I disagree with this statement, the villain's pre flop and flop play instantly indicates a loose passive player to me. I am going to rely on that read until proved otherwise.

The button open is obviously standard but I think the cbet needs to be larger on the drawy board. I am expecting to take the pot down uncontested a lot but am still finding a lot of value from worse hands.

The turn is a bad call but once checked to, I think we have to make another value bet and fold to a checkraise. Following this line of thought I would probably consider a thin value bet if checked to on the river because the 2 is an absolute brick.

As played I would consider the turn check a trap check and snap call the overbet. Villain could show up with nearly ATC by that point.
