$25 NL HE 6-max: 25NLHE 6-max, definite fold?

Bigger stack was being a definite bully but i got in a tough postflop pickle, here goes!

poker stars $0.10/$0.25 No Limit Hold'em - 6 players - View hand 453060
The Official DeucesCracked.com Hand History Converter

MP: $25.00
CO: $34.25
BTN: $68.45
Hero (SB): $40.45
BB: $25.00
UTG: $31.65

Pre Flop: ($0.35) Hero is SB with K  K :club:
1 fold, MP calls $0.25, 1 fold, BTN raises to $1.25, Hero raises to $4, 1 fold, MP calls $3.75, BTN calls $2.75

Flop: ($12.25) A :club: J :spade: 3  (3 players)
Hero checks, MP checks, BTN bets $6.75, Hero folds, MP calls $6.75

Turn: ($25.75) 8  (2 players)
MP checks, BTN bets $14.25, MP folds

The ace flopped and villain was being really aggro, i couldnt put myself to shove my whole stack esp since its 100bb+, good fold?

You kinda have to fold. Heads-up, you can take one off here and see what he does on the turn (probably with the intention of check/folding if he bets again), but when there's another player left to act, you're just not going to be ahead often enough to show a profit here. Add to that the problem of being out of position and the fact that you have the mother of all reverse implied odds hands (meaning that when you have the best hand, you won't get paid off), just quickly curse the poker gods for dealing that ace on the flop and move on.

Thanks

That's what I thought =) im really bad at making laydowns even when the phrase "HE HAS KJ ON AQ10" is reeling through my mind, and I call with 2 pair and I find out the hard way I'm right...

Any good tips on how to deal with the "I just have to know" syndrome?

Consider what else you could have spent the money on rather than "finding out." Like a new car.

Good move sir. You have to figure one of the two players to have an ace. Sucks to be sandwiched here. Nice laydown, get a better spot.
