Button is 22/3/1 over about 80 hands. Should I be re-raising/committing on this flop?

I think you should really raise preflop. It would make post flop play a lot easier.

As played, committing with TPTK on a multiway limped pot is not an ideal situation. On the other hand, BTN has fishy stats and the board is draw heavy. He could call with a set or two pairs, but also with a weaker TP, a flush or a straight draw, and that's a range you do very well against. I would like a reraise here as I think the bottom of his range, i.e. draws and weaker TP will call anyway.

Why limp/call preflop? This is a clear raise to ~$1.50 for me preflop.

As played I'm reraising on this flop. The button is bad and is very likely to be putting his money in with the worst of it.

Not raising preflop is excessively bad. You allow all manner of hands huge implied odds against you, its really fairly ridiculous.

I wouldn't even hate folding here, but I guess shoving is okay as well, since often button will have junky Q's or worse. But this is a spot we really shouldn't be in at all.

Like others have said, why aren't we raising preflop here? then if we get 3bet we can lay it down oop.

Limping lets all kinds of hands stay around, and you have to play oop which is always less than ideal.

I think im trying to get it in here because those stats just scream loose passive fish that will call you down. Try to stay out of these spots though.

I think I probably should have raised preflop:p

In the same situation, Would you raise AJo,A10s or 99 w/ loose passive limpers?

I would raise all those hands and more. When playing against LPs, you want to build the pot preflop and then take it away postflop, because they fold when they miss. If they play back at you postflop you give up without a big hand or a draw to a big hand. Very easy money.

this is spot on. most of these guys, even if they are smart enough to figure out you cbt 90% of flops, can be taken down with a double barrel.

dont remember where i read it but basically you push and pick at an opponent until he gives you reason not to.
