re: Poker & $25 NL Overpair and OESD vs all-in turn bet
Raise more PF-- $1.50-$2. You gave decent odds
to a hand like 9c8c and you'll be OOP the rest of the hand (it was only $0.75 more to call for a pot of $3.50 when it got back to the main villain!).
I don't like this flop-- Heads-up in a tournament is one thing, but not a multiway cash game. I throw up a little in my mouth when I see this board and I have QQ, am 1st to act and there are 3 to follow. You have SIX clean outs (the Kc and 8c don't get me all that excited here). Even the other three 8's may just give you the 2nd nut straight.
As played, I fold to the push. I smell a rat when a loose villain PF here was passive on the flop, then comes alive and goes AI on a blank turn and after the dead money gets out of the way (and after you declare that you have a big PP). Much more often than not, villain has a made hand that can beat an overpair here, anything from a made straight, 2 pair, or a set.
