I don't care what you guys say, I like my 3-bet preflop against this 'tard who raises 23% of his hands in position.

Idk about the flop. I've been experimenting with c-betting less, and I thought this was an okay time to check behind. But since he's so loose and folds fairly often, now would be a decent time for a c-bet.

My turn raise size is puny. Lots of stuff turned a flush draw there, and I need to crank up the raise a bit more.

So, can we look this guy up on this river?

I think I call this. Looks like a busted flush draw to me. I dont know what made hand he has on that turn that flats your raise and then shoves river. If he had a made hand I'd think he'd try to get it in on the turn.

I'll probably call this too. Unless you have a read that he overbets some hands for value, then prolly I would look him up. I don't think he has a busted flush draw, but any kind of 8... What 8 would flat pre? I think he could have 4-bet pocket eights, but I wouldn't rule that hand out.
IMO, he's either full, or he has a busted straight draw (88, A8 or even 98 which you don't beat). His range is so wide that you would be ahead most of the time.

Wow, apparently this one was either an easy call or just a tough spot. Idk.

I called, villain showed :8h4::8c4: for a busted straight flush draw.
