You guys don't seem to like the threads I post where I'm in laggy spots with marginal holdings. So I figured I'd toss you an easy one.

Marc_Luciano is a nit who loves to 3-bet light on the button. He's pretty spewy in 3-bet pots, and will make some bad calls. Otherwise, he's pretty much very straight forward postflop. He's a long term winner, but not against me ;). I think I actually have respect against him, and I've never bluff shoved against him.

Stats on Marc_Luciano over 1.6k hands:
14/10/24%
3-bet % = 6%
3-bet % on the button = 12%

Other villain is a 49/6 fish who is just along for the ride.

Seat 6 is the button
Seat 1: celtic81 ( $58.59 USD )
Seat 2: cuttersix ( $18.33 USD )
Seat 3: Saegertown ( $35.05 USD )
Seat 4: Hero ( $25.56 USD )
Seat 5: Paulman99 ( $14.18 USD )
Seat 6: marc_luciano ( $35.19 USD )
celtic81 posts small blind [$0.10 USD].
cuttersix posts big blind [$0.25 USD].
** Dealing down cards **
Dealt to Hero [ :as4: :ac4: ]
Saegertown folds
Hero raises [$0.85 USD]
marc_luciano raises [$2.90 USD]
celtic81 folds
cuttersix calls [$2.65 USD]
Hero...

Should we 4-bet, call, or shove? I gave some thought to folding, but it just doesn't seem right.

I think it is a 100% fold everytime, he is 14/10...

on a serious note, you clearly have a lot of history with this guy so you should know about his play, i will make some genereal assumptions, his range is wider than we would like for a 4 bet here, unless you have a reckless image, and unless those 1.5K are HU observing you probably do not. I usually hate slowplaying at these limits but this seems like a player we can do it against with a button 3bet higher than his raise %. He seems like a tricky player who will steal this pot later on so I think I like a call here and leading out and trying to get it in on most flops.

I'm 4-betting this to about $12. I don't think there's any reason to get "tricky" with your AA.

Yeah, i'm popping it to somewhere in the $10-$12 area. This will make the pot large enough where where mark will be getting ~2:1 on a flop shove (if HU), and fishie will be committed no matter what if he desires to stick around. There's no reason to ever play AA in a multiway if you can help it, so i'm charging to see a flop.
