I'm am starting to play a lot more ring games in an aim to build up cash & player points.

I'm trying to get my head around calling down when I feel I'm possibly beat, pot odds, etc - I normally play PLO8 or NLHE so I'm not really used to playing almost `weak`

As it happens, I'm winning money, so that`s good :)

Let me know what u guys might have done in this situation...

I typically 3-bet this pre.

Given the small potsize, the turn could be a fold. You're getting about 5:1 odds on the turn, and you've got 6 outs. So we don't have the equity. A lot of microstakes players aren't going to bet this turn with 88, 9x, and other semibluffs, so if villain is the type of straight forward player you encounter a lot at idiot stakes, you can often just give it up there.

Given the fact that you made the pot so small with your flat call preflop, I'd lean towards looking for places to give up (prolly the turn). If the pot was a little larger, I think your play would be fine. But since we're getting 4:1 immediate on the turn, and then 6:1 on the river, it's just not going to be super profitable to call this down. If we were up at higher stakes, or if there were a few more bets in the pot, then I think it's fine to play it like this.

I dont think you can fold this on the turn...youre too often good still even facing the action.

Plus the outs....

I think it is played fine. Its classic Way ahead or way behind....just call down in limit holdem.
