why are u opening to 2.5x when ur 100 BBs deep? just raise to 3x. anyways, i don't mind calling here, reevaluating turn, and keeping the pot whatever size you want it relative to your hand (if u hit an offsuit 8, you might want to play a 25 BB pot, if u hit the flush u wanna get everything in, if u hit the A u might wanna play a 50 BB pot, etc.) calling keeps your options open, and also allows him to put money in behind (such as a random unpaired club such as 7cXc).

if u really want to u can just raise the flop and hope to get it in, but that's less favorable than peeling a card here in my experience

isn't action dan a 2+2 reg who plays high stakes?

anyway, ye im not shipping it in here, peeling and taking the free card is way more favourable, we can probably take the hand away from villain on later streets if he just has a weak top pair etc, so just call and re eval

your both azdvising to call and re evaluate. What are you guys thinking on turns:

-that hit an overcard to the board that doesnt piar our hand and we get bet into?
-he checks to us?

-depends on bet sizing, but most likely folding, only calling here on flop since we have the odds to with the flush draw + overcards as a backup, i don't think our ace is generally good here much

-just check behind, the only hands that will check/fold the turn are complete bluffs and we beat them already with our ace, so no point in betting

i would check in actiondans position so he can see next card
as the other player raising you know that he has hit at least one pair
so his chance is bigger winning the pot then at actiondans

dificult decision for actiondan after reraise
