Agreed. The only reason to call here is because of lagtardy tiltness, but that's probably enough. With no read, though, you're hosed and should fold.
Suppose you're playing against a decent player, ballsy TAG and he knowns you know he wouldn't do this with Q9, wouldn't you be right in calling ? Just shows that you shouldn't just think in terms of "this looks bad against a TAG" but in terms of "considering the action and how we played, what range can this be?".
The crux of the matter is, we are getting 3:1 on our money and we have to think that because nobody bet the flop, the chances of steal becomes higher. I agree that had we bet this turn, raised this river and are facing a bet, the call becomes tougher, but here, we gotta call. We are good 33% of the time methinks.
