Alright so the most important thing to read before this hand is that it occurred on a 40bb max table with $1/$1 blinds. So I am at a table with a bunch of fish (as can be expected from a 40bb max buyin table) and a few regs. I am dealt AcJc UTG which isn't the best hand to play UTG but anyways I saw them play ace rags and such. So I raise to $4 and get one caller in the button and one in the big blind. Flop comes out Jd8c6s. The first player to act makes a small bet and then the other player makes a large reraise, and i shove for my remaining 36bb. The player who made initial donk bet was LAG and so was the one who re-raised. I was thinking he would show up with an inferior kicker and a jack enough times to make my shove profitable. As for my reads on the player who re-raised, he was very aggro and i had seen him make similar plays and then showdown ace-high a few times. Any thoughts on my play?

I personally like your play very much. Your shove is profitable I think, especially since this player is light aggressive and could call with any jack basically. However there is always the possibility that he flopped 2 pair but it's unlikely, I think with the way you played the hand you would be getting payed off in this situation. However after your huge re raise It gave away you had a jack with a strong kicker or better. So if this guy was a good player and picked up on that and was beat he would fold to your raise

Im unclear if you called the initial small bet or how the button made a large RR before you if your UTG?
