$200 NL HE Full Ring: Semi-bluff gets popped?

$100 NLHE Live: Early on, no reads. I'm in MP w/ KsJs. Limp, limp to me. I limp. CU calls, BB checks and we see a flop.

FLOP ($11): Qh8s3s

Check, check, check, I bet $9. CU quickly says "Twenty".

Everybody folds to me.

How best to proceed?

I froze for a second. My thoughts went: "SHOVE!" to "Nah, he WANTS to get it all in" to "I'm prolly gonna be facing a big bet on the turn" to "Well now I can't shove. I've been sitting here thinking too long."

DOH!

This IS a $100 buy in game. Not $200.

My stack was just under $100 and Villain's was a little more. Anyway, he had me covered.

Sorry, old notes...

Depends on opponents and how much they like to call (or like to fold) If they can easily be bullied off of a Queen then reraising is fine. At $100 live buy in levels I assume this isn't the case though, in which case it's an easy call. Its barely over a min raise, you are calling $11 more to win $40, 4:1 on your call. Your king maybe good also adding to your outs.

Yeah, it is an easy call...

I screwed up... trying to piece together a hand from something I scribbled down on a cocktail napkin.

Somehow, I was only getting around 2.5 to 1 on the flop... I got the amount of players and pot size wrong.

Sorry Zybomb.

Thanks though!

Ye as said its an easy call on the flop. Shoving aint too good as in a multiway pot his check raise is representing alot of strength and were getting great odds anyway.

Preflop I like raising it up to 6BBs. Punish those Limpers!

Yeah just call on the flop and go from there. He made clear that he has a good hand and he wont fold if you shove cos he has very little fold equity, call and hope to complete your flush on turn, mostly c/f turn
