Hi guys I recently got into 2 awkward spots against a villain who was extremely short stacked at a 1/2 NL table.

During the first hand I opened UTG for $15 holding KK. MP shoves for $21 and very loose villain flats the $21 all-in. Very loose villain started the hand with $51 so he has $30 behind after he calls the $21.

The flop comes: A:spade: 7:spade: 4:heart: $66 in pot

Villain is extremely loose. He buys in for the minimum $60 calls a raise then shoves the flop or 3 bet shoves pre-flop when someone open raises with a very wide range. Given that villain is loose and there is very little to no fold equity against villain's range, stack, and tendencies would you just put him all-in and hope he does not have an ace or make his draw or suck out on the river or would you check it all the way down to showdown?

During the second hand I opened again UTG for $15 holding 88. It gets folded around to the same villain who calls the $15 PFR with $21 behind this time.

The flop comes: Q:spade: T:heart: 3:club: $33 in pot

Again there is not much fold equity and villain's range is wide. Would you opt to bet or check it down or check fold his shove?

I just want some feedback on how you guys handle these spots. Thanks in advance guys!

no folding back

In the first hand if the villain shoves we should consider calling given the villain's reckless image and play. I would have called here with the kings irrespective of what the flop was.

In the second hand where we have pocket eights it is a shove on the flop as villain only has 7 $ behind and and the pot is almost 5 times as much. So we should put him all in here again irrespective of the community cards. No way i am checking down here and no way i am folding to his silly shove.:icon_bril

1st hand: reshove if possible, if casino doesn't allow it then I'm almost never folding to the extra $31. Given V's tendencies, I'm probably letting him shove into me on most flops. The caveat is that we have to be sure he'll bluff-shove DESPITE the all in (meaning he has no FE). Even then, I'll probably be checking if I have a piece of that draw (eg we have Ks).

Hand 2 is probably a check/give-up. Against V's wide-range calling station-y vibe, we definitely just want to be playing our monsters. If we're worried about bleeding money, esp w/ his small stack, we should consider opening to $10ish with semi-premium (I doubt anyone will seriously pick up on it).

Hi man !

After reading the above

I would

1) In first case >>> when Hero was holding KK and one showed $21 and the aggressive Villain calls > Hero should in my opinion Re-Show

2) In econd case >>> with holding 88 >>> after such Flop >>> I would try just to check ..if Villain Raises >>> Just Fold

Anyway Good Luck @TAbles !!!
