Silver Level
Live poker (200NL) with $1/$3 blinds.
Hero is short-stacked and only has $140 (37bbs). Hero is new to the table and has no reads, but most players on this table are reasonably deep-stacked (from about $200 to about $1000) and the table seems to be a bit more aggressive than a typical 200NL live table.
Hero is UTG with 9h 9c and opens to $12
BTN calls and BB calls, both with about $250 stacks behind
$35 in pot (3 players)
Flop shows 9s 7s 5d
BB donks out $30, hero tanks and calls, BTN also calls
$120 in pot (3 players)
Turn shows 6c
BB shoves for $200
Hero tanks and calls $100 (all-in)
What do you think of the way I played this hand? I was planning to smooth call the flop and shove any non-spade turn, but my plan was ruined once this turn card came and I faced a donk shove.
