Sunday night game in Casino.

full ring game, soft table.

Loose passive player limp from Cut off
everyone fold to my SB...have 44

with big blinds we have 150BB deep.

my situation is call...but

first let me tell the results

board is A 6 3 9 3

everyone checks to showdow, loose passive show Q high, BB show 7 high and I have 44. so I won but... this pot I paid the rake of 5 bux. so in this case I called for nothing. completed small blinds 1 dollar win nothing.

so in this case how will you guys play this hand?

solid maths plz.

many thanks.

PS: the rake fee is 4 dollars for see flop, with 5% rake with 1 dollar see river fee. something like this. I forgot when play this hand.

Um raise preflop to $12, everyone folds, you make $4 profit (no flop, no drop)

Raise preflop, I prefer not to let people play hands out of the bb for free.

Don't play in this Casino if the rake is structured like that. Unless you enjoy breaking even at best.

No math really needed

I won 2 buyins
because of calling stations pays me
and there are drunk players showed up on that time.

expected EV is about 27+BB/100 hands
besides the variance only happened in 300 hands
so give me a reason not play @ this entertainment table.
