Hero is on the button with 99. There are 2 limpers, 1 in middle position and 1 in the CO. I make it £16. They both call and both of had been splashing it about a bit and I would consider loose aggressive.

Flop: 4T9 2 spades. We don’t have a spade. Pot is about £55. MP checks, CO bets £50. I raise to £160. MP folds, CO tanks and then calls.

Turn: K of spades. Pot is £375. CO bets out £250. I have £430 behind. What’s the play? I tanked for a quite a while and ended up calling. It then went check check on the river. Feel like calling on the tur was a mistake though and I should have just shipped the extra £180 or made a hero fold. He ended up having T3 hearts. Thoughts?

I would probably ship it on the turn. My thought process here is that it is very hard for your opponent to just call your re-raise on the flop with just a flush draw, but maybe something like AT with A of spades. I was almost certain he has that exact hand when he decided to lead on the turn. Regardless of him hitting flush or not, I would shove as I still have 10outs to win.
This way, calling the turn, I would not know what to do on the river, in case villain jams. If you would still call, then why not shove the turn, if you would fold, then why not fold the turn?
In that sense, I would never just call the turn.

It is a player dependent spot to me.

Against splashy villain, perhaps I don't mind calling the turn bet to induce bluff on the river.

Against TAG, I would expect float turn bet range consists of KT and JQ ( with 0 or 1 spade) only and don't mind calling here as well even left with awkward stack size.

Against good LAG, I would add more gutshot and flush draws combos in the float turn bet ranges and would be raising to allin.

You left out few things. Is this a 1-2 or 2-5 game? From the flop pot size I'm going with 2-5 If so there was already 17 in the when you made it 16 to go? Your raise is too small. You call of 5 and raise of 11 means the first limper needs to call 11 to potentially win 23. The second caller gets an even better price. Was your intention to win pre or at least thin the field? If so hero needs to raise pot, after his call. That's 27 in this case. If you are only try to hit trips, then why not just limp?

As played you hit a great flop and should be looking to get your stack in. When the CO bets 50, the pot is 105. After your call the pot is 155 and you have 540 behind. Hero is losing to TT, but is killing the over pairs and racing a flush. Hero's raise of 110 (160-50) is too small. A raise of 140 makes the pot 435 if called and leaves Hero with 400 behind, and easy push. If the flush doesn't come in.

As played, Villain needs to call 60 to win 155. The flush draw is not quite priced in, but it is tempting to call. The pot size puts you in an awkward position when Villain raises. I shove, because I'm not good enough to call fold the river getting 7 to 1 for my last 180.

If the turn pot were bigger, Villain would be less inclined to bluff and even if she hit the flush, Hero has 10 outs, and easy call or shove IMHO.

I think i jam the turn. There are some really terrible river cards for you that would force a fold, such as any spade, a jack, or a queen. He isn't going to call, but the value you lose might be less than having to fold when a scare card hits on the river. You win a fairly decent pot if he folds, an if he does call with the flush we still have a "boat-load" of outs. :D
