So I just played 200NL ($1/$3 blinds) at my local casino and came across an interesting hand. The players on my table were (to the best of my memory) as follows:

UTG: $150 stack, loose passive but knows how to fold postflop
UTG+1: Sitting out
UTG+2: Sitting out
MP1: $500 stack, decent TAG reg, but had a habit of C-betting every flop as PFR, making it easy to float him and take it away on the turn
MP2: $800 stack, loose passive fish on a massive heater, easily the worst player at the table (and ironically the chip leader). He won most of his stack by limp-calling hands like Q8o and getting runner-runner full house.
Hero (CO): $200 stack, was generally playing TAG-style poker
BTN: $200 stack, loose passive preflop but very aggressive postflop (most aggressive player at the table). Pulled off double/triple barrel bluffs regularly, would donk-bet regularly, would barrel with any draw and often jam river on a busted draw. He also made a lot of thin value bets and tended to get paid off because of how often he bluffed.
SB: $300 stack, loose passive calling station
BB: $250 stack, tight passive nit. I barely saw her play any hands, but I do remember her 3betting preflop with AA by min-raising (she raised from $15 to $30) and then overbet shoving the flop and showing her AA when everyone folded.

Hero is dealt Qs Jd
SB posts $1
BB posts $3
UTG calls $3
MP1 folds
MP2 calls $3
Hero (CO) raises to $15
BTN calls $15
SB calls $14
BB folds
UTG folds
MP2 calls $12

~$60 in pot (4 players)
Flop shows 7s Ks Kc

SB checks
MP2 checks
Hero (CO) checks
BTN checks

~$60 in pot (4 players)
Turn shows 3d

SB checks
MP2 checks
Hero bets $40
BTN calls $40
SB folds
MP2 folds

~$130 in pot (2 players)
River shows Jc

Hero checks
BTN bets $60
Hero ???

I think there are a number of possibilities for what the villain could have here:
- Slow played trips
- Slow played boats
- Busted flush draws (2 spades)
- Low to medium pocket pairs
- Jx hands like J7, J3 or AJ
- Something else?

My plan was to take a stab at the pot on the turn and then check-fold the river if anyone calls, but hitting a pair OTR and facing a bet of less than 1/2 pot made me re-evaluate if I could have the best hand. I am getting slightly better than 2:1 on a call. Do I win often enough to justify this?

Don't bluff multi-way; you are lighting money on fire. Players at these stakes are calling stations, and they will call you down in this spot with any pair or straight/flush draw. When there are 3 other people in the pot, it's pretty likely someone caught a piece of this board. And don't isolate pre with QJo unless you make it big enough to take it down pre or get heads-up with one player, and you are very confident in your postflop game. Sure, you may have positional advantage, but you do not have card advantage: you have Q high. And you're going to need a lot of skill advantage to compensate for weak card advantage and also because you're playing against loose passive stations who WILL call you down. When I saw the sizing, I figured at least 2 or all 3 were going to come along.

When you take a stab OTT multi-way, you're pretty much repping nothing other than a full house or quads, but I doubt these players can hand read anyway. If you had a strong hand but vulnerable hand, why would you let 3 other players take a free card when there's a flush draw out there? You'd want to get maximum value out of draws, no? You'd only get one street of value if you checked the flop, or possibly two only if they were spewy enough to bluff a missed draw, which most passive stations do not do. On the other hand, if you had a full house or quads, you have the deck locked up, and that's the only reason why you would check the flop and bet the turn.

Pretty much have to call river now due to BTN's image. Not too excited about it though; probably marginally +EV or breakeven call.

cbet flop. You said you were showing tag style. If your image is tight then theres no reason why they wouldn't think you had a king.

3d is a brick so if he's betting why? Is he floating.... trying to value in medium pocket pair?

J hits and we are getting slightly over 3:1 odds to call... we gotta be good a lot of the time here.
