Live game, 200$ish effective.
2 limps, KK raise to 10$, lady to my left reraises to 22$. Very nice lady whose son was a poker pro. She didnt seem too experienced but had the good habit to almost always raise when entering pots.
Both limpers think and call the 22$. I shove for about 180$ more. I am hoping for one caller. Lady thinks thinks thinks and folds, first limper thinks thinks thinks thinks thinks and folds, (he folded JT suited lolol) second shortish limper calls with QQ. I win the pot.
An A flopped and when it did the lady absolutely cried in frustration. She folded AK she said. And she absolutely uncategorically put me on AA and that's why she folded. Had she put me on more than aces she would have snap called me with AK.
After the hand I asked why she reraised, she said she didn't want to go 4 way to the flop with AK (fair enough) and wanted to fold out the small, medium pairs and all the junk that could catch. Again fair enough.
But my question is regarding her read and especially the math behind it. Total pot about 240$ she needs to call about 150$ giving her less than two to 1 odds and against my super tight range is calling with AK just an -EV move in this spot?
I have issue with her putting me on one single hand but how would a "competent" player play AK in her spot.
Of course she viewed me as very tight, which I was
Thanks!
