$200 NL HE Full Ring: Folded QQ for the first time preflop today

But should I have smooth called to setmine? Assuming he has AA and stacks off on a Q X X flop, I'm getting about 8-1 implied odds.

Reads: Villian seems regular TAG. A few hands earlier I semibluffed into three players (including villian) w/ a small flush draw on the flop. BB and villian called, and it was checked down and BB won with 4 2 on a board of A

. Tiny hand, but IDK if it has any influence on villians view of me for this hand.

Stacks: I have $330, villian has a little more. Preflop, UTG limps, villian raises to $10 in mid position. I reraise to $40 with Q

in the BB. Folds to villian who comments "haven't seen you raise much". Then he makes it $90. I folded. Correct move?

You're getting 132:50 immediate odds, and you've got about 4.8:1 in implied odds. Definitely not enough to set mine.

I'd probably just 5-bet it all in here, but if you have some magical read that he only 4-bets some crazy tight range, then I suppose we can fold.

I agree I think that you should bet it allin but if he you have a read on your opponent being very conservative then you would have to fold but I dont see that happening very often and I could not fold here in most situations

If you manage your bankroll correctly, and have around 50 buyins for this level, you have to make the shove all in here, a lot of the time he has A/K suited here. Sounds like a real nit fold to me, are you rolled for this level, and don't have the balls to shove?

I don't think shoving is always the answer with queens, however in this situation, he's basically given you an ultimatum to play for stacks or not. Being as the SPR would be $180 to your remaining $240 you have an SPR of 1.3, you basically have no choice but to play for your stack on almost any flop. So I think this is a fold or raise situation. If you think you got the best of it or feel its a race and wanna gamble ship it, if you don't then don't either way I think is good, I think calling is bad.

Low limit live cash game --- the guy 4 bet. Players at this level arent creative enough to do this with anything but AA or KK unless they are exceptionally bad (and there is no read to tell us that right now) We beat nothing. Fold

i also think that just calling down is a much better option than going all in pre.
