edit: title should say flop straight, sorry
So im playing some live poker couple days ago at a buddy's house (trying my best to remember hand, i'll describe it as best as possible), villain is kinda loose, theres like 7 people, i'd say 5 are very casual players, playing for fun and all. Anyways i have like $120 stack (lost a big hand earlier) and he's around $240
Hero is BTN with 9To
Villain is like BB + 3, raises to $8
Fold, i call, fold , fold
Flop comes : 7h 8h Jh
Villain: raises to $14
Hero: raise to $44
Villain: thinks for a bit, then goes all in
Hero: ?

Since you had committed over a third of your stack you can only put the rest in.

Is one of your cards a heart?

Does he think you would be prone to representing the flush with that raise on the flop?

The 'thinking for a bit' part makes me nervous.
He either HAS a low flush in his hand or is drawing to one.
He also could have an over pair or flopped a set.

Have you seen him show bluffs in the game?

As Media said you committed a good portion of your chips already and you
feel he is loose so..... CALL

Let us know what happened.

i hadn't really showed much of anything.. we were involved in a couple hands, which i won but none that went to showdown.
@media im holding no hearts and @leo i had also put him on either a set or overpair, i thought he would push sooner with any flush. if he called i was sure he was on a draw and he wouldn't push with a draw, at least thats what i felt from him. so i ended up calling, along with what you guys said i already had 1/3 in there. ended up he had a low flush
