$200 NLHE Full Ring: AKo OOP vs villain
Hi Guys I would like some feedback on the way that I approached this hand.
This is my third hand at this table so not much info on villains.
Villain and Hero are both 100BB deep.
UTG limps, Hero (MP2) opens for $15 holding A♦K♣, Villain (CO) calls.
The flop comes: J♣ 9♣ 3♠ $47 in pot
UTG checks, Hero bets $30, Villain and UTG both call.
The turn brings a 6♣ $137 in pot
UTG checks, Hero bets $30, Villain shoves all-in.
This was a clear fold for me but I would like some feedback on the way to approach this situation when villain hits his draw. Let's assume I had the A♣ for the nuts. If I check the turn, villain will most likely make a big bet pricing me out. If I make a blocker bet to price myself in villain will either flat or raise where the latter will price me out. Villain will more often than not raise the turn when he is not holding the ace of clubs.
Thanks in advance!
