$200 NL HE Full Ring: AK v limp raise

Live hand: I've been playing tons of hands so far, all of which are monsters though and I've shown about half of them to solidify my image.

UTG taggy internet-looking player limps, one or two do the same behind him, and I raise to $15 with AKo. Folds to UTG who raises to $50 or so and we're like $300 deep.

Folds to hero...

Fold. You're getting slightly under two to one, but I mean if you put them on a high pair, which is probably the only thing you can really have him on after a 3x 3bet, you're going to need to flop a pair to keep playing, and that happens what like 26% of the time or something? That's worse than two to one. Moreover, you're crushed whenever he has aces or kings. I say just fold and wait for more information on this player. Even if he had like a mid pair, it's really essentially the same thing, since it's difficult to play the flop when you don't pair.

Has an UTG limp-re-raise from a nitty player in a full ring game ever been anything other than AA?

Pause for a second, look at the guy and give him a non-homo wink as you muck.

Did that dude limp more often??

If this dude almost never limps and does limp now UTG... than watch out for him.. If you rais AK and he reraises you here I would have folded

Just an opinion but I hate the fact that you are showing any hands at all. I guess live the players are ton worse, but I still wouldn't be giving out too much information... do you do this online too? Wondering why the variation.

As for the hand; it might be way too tight, but I fold.

I muck it. I think he's getting tricky with one of the two hands that have you crushed. That assumes he was counting on someone raising it up.

How had the pots been forming pre-flop at the table? That is, if everyone is limp/calling then I think he's less likely to have K/K+ as he won't want to be up against 4 players. But if he feels that he can rely on someone (especially you) on making an isolation bet there, then he's probably got the goods.
And if the guy is taggy, I assume he's not in the habit of limping in, which just smells like a trap when he does so UTG. Best case scenario he has a middle PP, but I think you're screwed most of the time.

I don't think showing cards does a whole lot to give you a solid image, as people just assume that not showing means it was a bluff. I mean it helps some, just very little. Now, showing bluffs, people will remember and will make a bigger impression. Just my opinion. I don't have a anything to back it up.

If that's your preference...

I really hope you folded regardless of kleiches sexuality. This is AA until the sands of time expire

snapfold. Really I've seen guys do this with as bad as like TT but he never does it with AQ and he's never folding to a shove. You have very little invested and there's not a single hand in his range you're ahead of. So fold.

the limp reraise is just such a strong play that u will rarely find any player doing it with less than QQ (SOMETIMES AK) so ur either 50/50 vs QQ 30/70 against KK and i dont evne know the odds for AK vs AA think its something like 8/92. Also if he did happen to have AK then he has the huge advantage as with only 2 Aces and 2 Kings left in the deck it is likely that u will both miss but with control of the pot he is most likely to win the pot.
