Hey everybody I'm new to this forum, thank you for taking the time to read this and hopefully give me some advice. I've only recently decided to player poker professionally and grind my way to a steady bankroll. I usually buy in for min (25 BB) due to a small bankroll and only play live cash games which at my casino are 1/2 and up. I was 3 hours into a VERY loose table. I had 3 calling machines and a donk who went all in (200+) with connectors more then once preflop. I usually never play AJ but because of my position and stack I thought I'd change things up. Preflop action- the donk to my right hand side raises to 9, 2 folds and the action was on me with another person to my left (calling machine) and the donk. I had AJ and I knew the man to the left would call me with a Q8 Suited. I thought about raising but knew that the donk would call anything as long as he had some money in the pot so I went all in with $55, in an effort to not have the calling machine limp in. The man on my left goes all in and the donk calls. The flop comes 3s6s7s then 8, 9. The man on my left had AK unsuited and the donk played 89 off suited. I haven't been able to sleep because I don't know if I let his Loose aggressive play affect my decision making skills or I was adapting to the situation to get the most equity out of my hand and position ( Late position) What could I learn from this hand?
