$200 NL HE Full Ring: 2nd nuts/backdoor flush minraised

This hand tilted me.

was playing a session Friday night...we got down to 3 handed after 6 hours and this hand comes up.

Villain is obviously a good player on a serious heater. bought in for $150 and had $750 in front of him. I have $600. Our most notable hand together, he check-raised in SB after I bet on the button with top set on a monotone (6 4 3 clubs), we both checked a fourth club on the turn. The river brought the 3 hearts, he bet $30 and I raised to $80, he said "I can't beat anything you raise there," flipped Kc9c and folded.

On this hand, button calls $2, I call in SB with K8 spades and villain in BB checks. Button is aggressive and would raise any kind of good hand like a pair or suited ace. Before cards are turned I announce a bet in the dark of $4. He says he calls in the dark.

Flop is Qd9h2s. Button folds

Turn is 6s.

I bet $10, he instacalls.

River is Js.

I bet $30. He plays with his chips a little bit and raises to $75.

Can I reraise?

Sure its 3 handed and u have the 2nd nuts plus your hand is concealed in the fact that you appear to be spewing by betting dark and continuing your action. $275 with the intent of calling a shove. villain will call with a huge range, and shove many flushes as well. I like making my raise look larger, to possibly give villain the impression that i am trying to buy the pot with a large bet and that i think he is just raising me bc ive been betting dark and such

oh i suppose it's not exactly a minraise, but it's close enough.

I asked him for a chip count just to get his reaction and he seemed to be bursting with excitement at the idea of sticking it all in.

I gave a little speech and said, "I wonder if you have KT." He smiles and says, "That would be a good hand."

I don't think he's too spewy so I try to re-create the hand and wonder what he would call a flop bet in the dark with and I suppose Ace-high is squarely in his range.

He is reeking of strength, but any flush here would be very strong.

he showed in the other hand that he's capable of folding a good hand, so I dont think he will call a raise unless he has you beat with the A high flush.. but if you're certain he would've raised a Suited Ace from the BB of course its a reraise...

You were talking about the button with 'raising with any ace' so this ^^^ quote dosent exactly stand.

One thing ive learnt about LIVE poker is you can never EVER be sure, plenty of regulars and seasoned poker players who mix up there game alot. Imo, you said hes not spewy so im probarbly bumping this too around $200 and folding to any raise. It's 3 handed we have the second nuts, people call with alot less. If that makes you uncomfortable just call, and take notes on what ever he shows. Information is a valuale asset im paying off here everytime.

$275 and we're definetely getting it in to a shove. Nice life if he has the AsXs.
