Full table. Different session than my other post however.

Villain is LAG, will raise 52s+, 54s+, any 2 broadway, 22+ from any position. Barrels his draws.

Villain has $200. Hero has $300.

Villain opens UTG+2 to $12. Hero flats on BTN, blinds fold.

Hero has QT. Flop: Qc4cTs

Villain bets $15, Hero raises to $60, villain flats. Turn: Kd.

Villain checks, hero?

Actually I stoved it and I'm not liking the results so I think checking back or betting smaller might be better.

You might not love your equities but youve already made your decision by raising SOOO much on the flop imho.

Ignoring rake there is like 147 in the pot and 138 left effectively in our stacks......not sure what we can do but shove here....definitely cannot bet fold...I cant see giving a free card at all.

If he had KQ and he put 36% of his stack in before the turn he was going broke on the flop too....so whatever its a suckout.

If he has a combo draw he is probably still drawing...

Was my raise sizing bad? I thought it was fine. What is a better sizing?

The reason why I raised to $60 is because I figured if I raised smaller to $45 or $50, effective stack sizes are similar to what they would be if I raise to $60. A raise to $45 or $50 is going to fold air anyways. But he is definitely going to call a raise with a pair or any draw so why not get more value? So I guess my question is, was it a mistake and should I altered my raise sizing?

Fold pre. Putting in 6% of your stack with QT isn't good no matter how laggy your opponent is. Less bothered about it if its sooted but still don't like it. I play the flop the same.

Ship turn. Sure KQ/KT/J9/KK all caught up but JJ/AA/AQ/QJ/KJ/XcXc/Q9/AT/JT didn't. On a board like this vs a range as wide as villains half the deck is a scare card but it doesn't mean half the deck helps him. I doubt our equity is bad at all here but even if it is below 50% we still shove. It's not like we can ever fold the river to a laggy git whos just had half their straight draws and all their flush draws brick. Our choices are between getting it in now and not allowing the hands we beat a free card or allowing villain both a free card and to not have his worse value hands stacked.

In positions like this we don't think about how to play against the hands that beat us as folding isn't an option, if we're beat he is getting our stack! We think about how to make the most money out of the hands we beat.
