I'm sitting about even with $200ish behind me and get dealt 10c10s on button. Blinds are in and UTG calls and LP calls, I make it $10, blinds fold, UTG and LP both call.

Flop comes 9sAd7d3c Pot is around $30

UTG bets around $12, LP calls, I call. Pot is now around $65.

Turn is 4d putting a flush possibility out there. UTG checks, LP checks, I check.

River is 10h putting 2nd set on the board for me:

9sAd7d3c4d10h

UTG bets $45, LP insta calls...

Hero?

"Floor man! There are six cards on the table!"

It's a misdeal.

LMAO

Obviously you call and as soon as the cards are tabled you call for the floorman. Win-win for you. Either you won at showdown and then don't say anything, or you get the misdeal and get your money back. It's a freeroll. :)

I must need more caffeine haha.

Here's the correct board:

9sAd7d4d10h

No idea where I saw the 3c but the turn was 3 or 4 of diamonds.

Interestingly that night there were a lot of missed deals, players getting a single hole card, lots of accidental flips, etc.

I think you have to make the call here unless u have a read on ur opponents. U haven't shown any aggression so if LP had a flush I think he would put in a small raise instead of calling and hoping u call behind. UTG could have anything from a weak ace to a flush. Bottom line....ur getting about 3.5 to 1 pot odds so I think I'm calling here.

I would have to make the call here too. Yeah sometimes you'll be shown a ST8/F but you have under-repped your hand and you'll see a lot of 2P hands here also.

Why no raise on the flop? The $12 donk by UTG feels a lot like a blocking bet and you can definetly rep a big Ace here.

I'm never calling that river. I'm raising here, since we got a raiser and an instant caller we definetly got room for value here. Think of all the 2 paired combo's which will be happy to call an extra $45 :)

If the 2nd guy has a straight he would've raised, we cant be too worried about the straight but it can happen... But most times we get Ax calling and 2 paired combo's calling us :)

Just can't raise too much or we only get called when beat. So i'd like to put $90 infront. All 3 call we got an extra $135 in the pot we missed. I didn't count the stacks or anything but we never say no to extra money and we don't like to leave money at the table if we are getting action from those behind.

Even with the 3 diamonds on board? I could see a small flush just checking the turn (trying to trap) and then trying to get some value on the river. Is our strength enough here to warrant the raise?

Thanks for the feedback!

Spoiler: Initial raiser had 87s (not diamonds) and won the pot with a pair of 7s. Other villian showed K3 for a pair of 3s , no diamonds. So my 10s were good the whole time and only improved more by the river.

Jilly is right, I could have repped an Ace. I think it was tougher to consider doing this only because we had two villians, heads up I think it would have been easier to raise them.

Why are we trying to rep an A when we have SDV? I like a call in position, raising seems to only get called by better unless we have a plan of barreling. I think our hand is too good to barrel and we have a pretty easy play if we get bet into again OTT.

Never folding this river, but probably not raising either. Hand is way too good to fold but flushes are a non-negligible part of villain's range

We aren't worried about trappers. We are just worried about getting thin value wherever we can :).

If he shoves over the top then we know we aren't good, but we should still get callers from weaker hands.
