$200 NL HE Full Ring: 2 hands at insane $1/$2 game live
This was the craziest $1/$2 game I've ever seen, it was playing like $5-$10 with straddles and a tilting maniac who was in the hole $2k.
KTo for stacks preflop:
Maniac was raising to $50 or so preflop in the dark, betting each street without looking at his hands.
I couldn't catch a hand against him.
I'm on the button and I call Mississippi for $6 (straddle that starts the action with the small blind).
I hear maniac say, "Yo this is the first time I've seen a face card in ages, I'm not even going to look at the other one."
He's first to act and raises to $45, with about $450 behind. He gets a cold caller, a LAGGY kid who had doubled up off him, but now seems to be scared money. He has $300 behind. I put him on a range of small pairs, 22-99, Ax, Kxs, broadways. I think he would reraise with JJ+, AK. So the strongest hands he MIGHT have are 99-TT, AQ.
I have KTo on the button (and I finish the action because of Mississippi) with $180. Maniac looks at the other card and I hear him say "wow, the other one's not too good though."
This is an easy shove right? I'm 100% sure maniac is calling.
Hand 2:
AKo to scary backraise
Decent LAGgy guy limps UTG, I put him on a range of any 2 suited cards.
I'm UTG+2 with AKo, I announce raise, he looks at me and I say, I'll keep it small just for you. I raise to $11 (preflop raises at this table were often $50). 1 fold, very solid player cold calls. 2 more calls. LAGGY kid on button raises to $50. UTG folds.
I call -- mistake?
Solid player 2 to my left raises to $175. Button calls.
I have $1000 and both players have about $500-$600 behind.
Snap fold?
