This was a $1/$3 live game I played at a casino with a $200 max buy-in. It was the very first hand I was dealt and thus I posted $3 from the CO because I generally prefer to start my session in late position rather than starting from the BB.
Villain (BB) has $1000 stack
Villain 2 (MP2) has $200 stack
Hero (CO) has $200 stack
Hero is dealt Ad 8c
SB posts $1, BB posts $3, Hero (CO) posts $3
Folds to MP2 who limps in for $3
I check in the CO
Folds to BB who also checks
$10 in pot (3 players)
Flop shows Ac 7c 8s
BB checks
MP2 bets $7
Hero raises to $21
BB calls $21
MP2 calls $14
$66 in pot (3 players)
Turn shows 9h
BB checks
MP2 checks
Hero bets $50
BB raises to $150
MP2 folds
Hero shoves ALL-IN for $176
What do you think about the way I played this hand? I will say that I tanked for a long time after I got check-raised on the turn. I wasn't loving it at all, but I felt that I was just about committed to stacking off at that point.
