$200 NLHE Full Ring: 1/3 Live situation what would you do?
I was playing ath the winstar world casino in oklahoma. It was a 1/3 game and the table was basically playing as 2/5 game the entire time.
I was in the big blind holding KcKs, UTG+1 raises to $10, and everyone else folds except the cutoff calls, and then obviously i raise to $31 dollars. UTG+1 folds and the cutoff player looks reluctantly and puts out his money and calls.
Pot is $73
Flop is 2s5sAs
I act first and checks and then he pushes $40 in the pot. I knew he probably had an A but he had been so loose earlier in the game, i just believed he did not have anything.
Pot is $153
Turn is 2d
I check again and he bets $60 and then i was wondering that if he was bluffing
me i had a spade to bail me out on the river and if he did not have an A i still have hime beat with pocket KK so i call.
Pot is $273
At this time he has only $240 behind and i have at least $650 behind me.
River come 9s
Obviously I have the nut flush and i feel good about my hand and i bet $75 for a value bet. Cutoff insta shoves the rest of his $240 dollars and i am like what the hell.
My question is what should I have done in this situation and what is your rational on the decision that you would make? I will post what i did in the future.
