Hey all,

I was playing 1/2 NL on Bovada today and I faced a rather standard situation preflop, but afterwards I was thinking - what would other people do?

The stack sizes are approximate as noone was too deep/short-stacked. The only read that I have is that CO has been 3-betting people quite a bit since I've been to the table. However, BTN is completely new and should not have access to that information. Also, given the anonymous nature of Bovada, he shouldn't know anything about the villain (or me) at all.

The
SB: $200.00
BB: $200.00
Hero (UTG): $200.00
MP: $200.00
CO: $200.00
BTN: $200.00

Hero is dealt QcQd

SB posts $1
BB posts $2
Hero raises to $6
MP folds
CO raises to $20
BTN raises to $42
SB folds
BB folds
Hero????

I have an idea of what I should do here, but what do you guys think?

Hm. Maybe this is quite trivial. I posted it in the chance that it wasn't.

I get the fold, but what if we have KK instead?

Snap jam :). Expecting to see AA a decent amount of the time though. If he does, NH. We're never folding unless we're up against the biggest nit. And if he has AK/QQ that's getting it in pre, he's not going to pay us off if certain cards roll off.

I FOLD QQ here.
Maybe an unknown just messing around early doors but put simply there are better spots to be had and we have little invested and would be oop.
KK I'd flat the 4bet and look to CR get it or call all in on any flop without an ace. I want to give AK the chance to bluff it off if there is no ace.
This is the way I play it when there is a decent chance I'm up against AA but can't I discount AK, if it is AA so be it. I might not win as many stacks this way but I also get stacked less and am less prone to getting tilted, it's a personal choice.
If the CO came along as well I'd be wary of an A or Queen.
I wouldn't blame anyone for 5bet shoving on an unknown with KK but we fold out his preflop bluffs and some QQ doing this and really only get called by AA.

Don't have any experience at 200NL or on Bovada so I have no idea how loose/tight the average player is but I'm folding this all way up to 50NL on Stars. I would 4bet and look to get it in against one player but against a 3bet then a cold 4bet there are better spots and we only have 3bb invested in the pot. So my analysis probably doesn't mean much but that's just my 2 cents :)

You'll be jammed with these QQ here, fold i think. If you decide call - you'll be facing vs AA, AK most of cases.
