With this being on partypoker the HUD marks stats for the seat not the player so ignore HUD stats, had not played with this player much so dont have too much info from what I can recall apart from that he seemed reg'y but seemed to do some wierd stuff post and range some questionable stuff pre, this was 2 days ago and I didnt note his in game stats at the time.

This is 5 handed so I think 3b'ing a lot here if this was 6 max and he was UTG and I was HJ I would flat a decent amount of the time here but its not and he sized smaller so 3b (this is also why I go for quite a big 3b as he seems like a regfish)

As played I could probably check flop but I think both have good arguments, this turn feels pretty bad for us from a range POV but also gives us some extra equity and we can re-assess rivers, which in this case is a favorable one which turns kinda wierd. I think on the limited information we have from this player this doesnt feel like value, I dont think reg's on the worse side of the spectrum check raise for value too much and this sizing doesnt really seem to make sense, if he recognises the A is a good card for us I would expect him to bet river when it goes X/X on the turn and go on the bigger side when he does that, I think some sets would X/R the flop and if they were going for value here then would go bigger. Cant think of too many value combos that play this way?

It's a fold for me we don't beat anything in villains value range and these spots are extremely under bluffed so it's not really a spot you get exploited. It's hard to imagine villain taking this line with AQ. I usually prefer 1/3p on the flop in 3bet pots especially on dryer flops which allows you to barrel turns more frequently and i would barrel this turn with quite a high frequency.

Flop is on the larger side just due to what I expect villain to do, I agree people dont bluff like this often but I dont see what he does this for value with so can only really be bluffs?

I think its ok to barrel this turn but I expect it to improved a lot of his range so we end up having to triple off

That’s a tough spot but that size looks more like a value raise than a bluff and there’s a very low percentage chance any opponent at $1/$2 is bluff-raising the river.

Only possible hand you can beat he’d raise with is AQ, and that’s only if he’s a total fish.

His range is pretty wide here. A10, AJ, 1010, 88, Q10 suited, 79 suited.

I think you just gotta fold it and save the $43.
