If our opponent has non-maniacal stats, you simply cannot feel good about stacking here. Can you think of a better situation to fold a flopped KK over-pair?
Ok, c9h13no3, when I say that bet folding the flop is too nitty, I specifically
am referring to the flop only. I see that the board is dry, which lends itself more to a set, but don't you think that an overpair is too strong to just fold the flop if you are raised? I see that the SPR is 13 and i know that is the ugliest of SPR's, that's why I wouldn't continue on the turn if he continues to bet. But, although you suggest if our villain has non-maniacal stats, this is not given in the initial information. In fact, we don't know ANY of the villian's stats, Given this lack of information, I would have to see more pressure on the turn before I would be convinced that they have a strong hand. I DEFINITELY agree with check/fold OR bet/fold on the turn or river. I do agree if you had a read that the villain knows what's going on.
Hope that explains my thought process. Please, pick the hell out of it.
